Introducing Indego’s $4.50 Single Ride

We are thrilled to announce the return of Indego’s Single Ride! Ideal for trips under 30 minutes, the Single Ride is perfect for first-time riders looking to try Indego or for casual riders needing a quick, flexible option to get around. This pass offers the convenience you need when using bike share. Keep reading to learn more about the Single Ride.

  • Indego’s Single Ride costs $4.50 for 30 minutes on any classic bike.
  • If you choose to ride an Indego Electric bike, there will be an additional fee of 30¢ per minute (no additional fee for Indego classic bikes).
  • Your 30-minute Single Ride starts the moment you undock the bike.
  • If your ride exceeds 30 minutes, you will be charged 30¢ per minute until the bike is returned.
  • The Single Ride is for one continuous 30-minute trip, so make sure to plan your ride accordingly. Note that the 30 minutes cannot be split into multiple trips.

The increased Indego Electric bike fee on the Single Ride supports the higher operational costs of maintaining our fleet of electric bikes. For all other pass types, the additional fee for Indego electric bikes remains 20¢ per minute (7¢ per minute for Access passes).

The Single Ride can be purchased just like any other Indego pass. Simply select the Single Ride on the Indego website or the official Indego mobile app, and when you’re ready to ride, unlock a bike using the mobile unlock feature. When you’re finished, make sure to firmly dock the bike to avoid any additional fees.

Thank you for your continued support of the Indego system! To stay up to date with all things Indego be sure to subscribe to our monthly newsletter at rideindego.com/subscribe, follow @RideIndego on social media, and enable push notifications on the Indego mobile app.

The User Agreement and Indego’s FAQ page have both been updated to reflect these changes. Read the press release from the City of Philadelphia.

Hello! The Single Ride pass does not expire. If you would like a refund, you will have to reach out to Indego’s customer service team who will be able to assist you. Yes, all our passes can be used at whichever station you like. To see our station map, go to https://www.rideindego.com/stations/.
