Indego Bike Share and the Better Bike Share Partnership are once again awarding a limited number of mini-grants to support community-based organizations this summer, from July through August 2022. This year, organizations can request up to $1,000 in funding.
Who can apply?
Grants will be awarded only to registered non-profit organizations that are doing direct service in the current Indego service area. We will prioritize projects within the grant timeline, as well as organizations that are community-focused and can incorporate Indego bike share into their mini-grant programming.
The funding will be for non-profit organizations working to provide recreational opportunities, operations, and programming to their communities during the summer season. Past grants have been awarded to organizations during the COVID-19 pandemic and can be found here.
How to apply:
Download the application form and email it to Meghan Alvarez, Transportation Engagement Coordinator, at Meghan.Alvarez@phila.gov. You can also contact her with any questions you may have about this opportunity!
Applications must be received by 5 PM on Wednesday, July 6th. Successful grantees will be notified by Wednesday, July 13th.
