Indego and the City of Philadelphia are recruiting new Community Ambassadors Organizations for 2020! Community Ambassadors are non- profit community organizations that help Indego connect communities with a fun, affordable, and healthy way to move around the City.
Hear from our 2019 Ambassadors as they share some of their most meaningful experiences from this past season and learn how you can apply to be an Indego Community Ambassador!
SEAMAAC is an organization that works with immigrant residents throughout South Philadelphia. They let us know that “Seeing the expressions and excitement on our neighbor’s faces when many of them rode a bike for the first time in years was priceless.”
Lorraine Gomez, Neighborhood Advisory Committee (NAC) Coordinator with the Mt. Vernon Manor CDC/NAC had this to share; “This was an awesome experience! I used Indego to run errands, have fun with my family, and encouraged seniors in my community to keep moving by taking a ride.”
Real-Life CDC, a new non-profit located in the Brewerytown Sharswood section of Philadelphia, shared “Connecting with all the ambassadors provided vital information about resources available throughout the City. It was great building relationships that extended beyond my season as an Indego Ambassador.”
