Join us on a group ride to celebrate Indego’s 10th birthday! 

Celebrate a decade of bike share with Indego and Wednesday Night Rides on a fun, slow-paced group ride through East Fairmount Park! We’ll begin and end at the Philadelphia Museum of Art (at the bottom of the Rocky Steps), rolling out shortly after 7 P.M. on an 8.5-mile loop exploring East Fairmount Park. We encourage riders to arrive as early as 6:30 PM to mingle and grab some free Indego swag! 

Want to ride an Indego bike for free? 

Registered participants can check out and ride an Indego bike at no cost from either the Schuylkill Banks Pergola or the Philadelphia Museum of Art stations. Indego staff members will be at these stations to confirm your registration and check out the bike. Registration links below. All minors must be accompanied by a parent or guardian – no exceptions. 

What if I arrive on an Indego bike? 

If you arrive to the group ride on an Indego bike and would like the fees waived during the group ride, please let a staff member know before the ride starts, so they can assist you. We will be stocking the stations at 24th & Pennsylvania, Pennsylvania & Fairmount, & Rodin Museum with bikes for this event.

All participants are expected to follow the rules of the road. Please refer to Wednesday Night Ride’s How We Ride Guide. Some more details:  

• -This ride will be beginner-friendly and at a leisurely pace 

• -The Indego team will be handing out free swag while supplies last! 
• -You must be 14 or older to ride an Indego bike and 16 or older to ride an Indego electric bike 

• -Please let ride leaders know about any medical conditions 

• -Indego riders should plan to stay with the group for the entire ride 

• -Your Indego bike must be docked at the end of the ride. We will have staff members at the Philadelphia Museum of Art at the end of the ride to make this process as easy as possible.  

Sign-up is required to ride a free Indego bike and spaces are limited!

Inclement Weather Policy: 

Please note, that several weather-related factors may cause this ride to be rescheduled within 24-48 hours. These include:  

1. Excessive Heat: If there is a forecast for a heat wave or excessive heat during the event ride or class time  

1. Rain/Hail: If there is a 50% or more chance of rain forecasted before the scheduled class or ride event time  

1. Air Quality: If the quality of air is RED (150 or higher, air particle index) during the event ride or class time
